About TowAlert

Last updated: 26 June 2026

TowAlert is a notification-facilitation service developed with the objective of resolving a common and persistent inconvenience encountered throughout Indian cities and townships: the absence of a discreet, immediate, and reliable means by which a member of the public may inform a vehicle owner that their vehicle requires attention, without recourse to confrontation, the defacement of the vehicle, or prolonged uncertainty as to whom the vehicle belongs.

Our Mission

It is the mission of TowAlert to enable any individual, in any circumstance where a vehicle is obstructing access, occupying a restricted zone, or otherwise requires the attention of its owner, to communicate that fact to the relevant owner promptly, courteously, and without disclosing their own identity — thereby reducing avoidable confrontation, minimising delay, and contributing to more considerate and orderly use of shared spaces.

Our Operating Principles

Confidentiality of the Reporting Individual

The identity of any individual submitting a report is never disclosed to the vehicle owner. We regard this assurance as fundamental to the integrity of the Service.

Accountability in the Use of Vehicle Data

Where TowAlert relies upon third-party vehicle-registration data to identify a vehicle owner who has not independently registered with the Service, such data is used strictly and exclusively for the purpose of delivering the relevant notification, is encrypted at rest, and is never employed for any marketing or unrelated commercial purpose.

Continuous Verification

Recognising that vehicle ownership changes over time, TowAlert maintains a mechanism by which a vehicle's recorded ownership is re-verified whenever a discrepancy is identified, so as to ensure that notifications are directed, so far as reasonably possible, to the genuine current owner.

Diligence in Service Delivery

While TowAlert cannot guarantee any particular outcome from a report, we are committed to the diligent, good-faith operation of our notification infrastructure across WhatsApp, SMS, push notification, and voice-call channels.

Governing Documents

The relationship between TowAlert and its Users is governed by our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, both of which form an integral part of any User's engagement with the Service and which we encourage every User to review in full.
